Algis Kibirkstis is the principal security consultant, auditor and instructor at EthiSecure. He is a graduate of Concordia University and Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a holder of a broad range of security-related certifications (including EC-Council CCISO; ISACA CISA and CDPSE; ISC2 CISSP and CCSP; PECB ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor; SABSA SCF; and SANS GIAC GAWN, GCIH, GDSA, GSEC, GCUX & GWAPT).

A native and fluently bilingual Montrealer, and a former security architect/SME for Ericsson and Nuance, Algis has built a strong reputation for developing efficient and effective solutions that both respect and meet business needs, and has a proven track record of delivering pragmatic solutions on-time and on-budget. With over 30 years of solid experience in assessment, implementation, design, verification, strategic planning and policy development, he brings a generalist and sensible approach to the specialist realm of information systems security.

Algis is a conference speaker, an auditor and a trainer-coach for security-related certification prep courses, and has worked on assignments and projects for a wide range of organizations – ranging from SMBs to crown corporations to Fortune 100 companies – involved in telecommunications, utilities, media & entertainment, education, healthcare, travel and hospitality, manufacturing, finance, para-governmental services and software industries.
