Principal Security Consultant

Algis Kibirkstis is the principal security consultant, auditor and instructor at EthiSecure. He is a graduate of Concordia University and a holder of a broad range of security-related certifications (CISA, CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 LI, ISO 27001 LA, SCF, GAWN, GCIH, GSEC, GCUX & GWAPT).

A native and fluently bilingual Montrealer, and a former security architect for Ericsson and Nuance, Algis has built a strong reputation for developing efficient and effective solutions that both respect and meet business needs, and has a proven track record of delivering pragmatic solutions on-time and on-budget. With over 30 years of solid experience in assessment, implementation, design, auditing, strategic planning and policy development, he brings a generalist and sensible approach to the specialist realm of information systems security.

Algis is a lecturer for several security-related certifications and a conference speaker, and has worked on assignments and projects for a wide range of organizations – ranging from SMBs to crown corporations to many Fortune 100 companies – involved in telecommunications, utilities, media & entertainment, education, healthcare, travel and hospitality, manufacturing, finance, para-governmental services and software industries.
